What is the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair? And, any other styling products you like (pic included)?

My hair is long (a little longer than mid back), straight, semi thick, has long layers with some that are face framing and is virgin (never been chemically treated). I have to wash my hair daily, or else it becomes oily. Here is a picture so you can get an idea of what my hair looks like...the picture is a little old, but my hair looks the same except that it is longer:

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a ';little'; honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences ';clean happy'; conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

This is going to be a good shampoo for u John Paul Mitchell they should sell it in a beauty store
Try Redken!
i like herbal eneneces
oily hair? you have to try the lemon treatment.... put some lemon juice (freshly squeezed) through out your hair and leave it in for 15 minutes, it will ungreasify..... for shampoo, try garneir fructis... its great, and there are alot of different types so you can get the certain one that will match your have quality. there is a good selection at target/walmat.... drug stores, not so much...

Good luck!!
dove, fo sho!!!
I would say try Garnier Fructis ';Length and Strength';. That's what i use for my long hair. Also, make sure you have some type of Weekly ';Mask'; you are using... I LOVE Aussie Original 3 Minute treatment. It doesn't make your hair greasy, but it gives it lots of shine. :)

Is any ';Hair color shampoo'; available?

I need shampoo which color hair that is dye hair.Is any ';Hair color shampoo'; available?
i do not belive there is any shampoo with actual hair color. there are some shampoos with a little bit of pigment in them to refreshen hair colors, like red and brown. i know sallys used to carry those products, but you should go to a salon or call one and ask your local stylist if they carry anything. biosilk also has a product with pigment inside. but thT must be purchased at a salon. Is any ';Hair color shampoo'; available?
There is only shampoo that helps keep your color

Expressions
i dont really understand your question.

But there is no shampoo that will dye your hair. You will need to get it done or buy a kit for that. (walmart-$10)

Lets say that you dye your hair blonde... well theres shampoo for color treated blonde hair. That also goes for brunettes, black and red head people.

Its called ';shampoo %26amp; conditioner for color treated hair';
use John Freida's Glaze
Yes, there are shampoos that have a tint to them. Most of the time it's in the area of a toner- it's used to tone down another color, or keep a base tone in a current color.

I would use professional products from a local beauty supply store, not a grocery store.

My hair is oily & thin,i have to use shampoo dily,is it safe?

I suffer from hair loss also.My hair is oily %26amp; thin,i have to use shampoo dily,is it safe?
yes, you can.My hair is oily %26amp; thin,i have to use shampoo dily,is it safe?
use nizoral

100% effective

all the best
Ugh, I have thin, oily hair also. I don't think people like us can get away with not shampooing every day. Ew! I stick to shampoos that are for clarifying or for extra volume. I also have my hair colored or highlighted at the salon here and there, as it seems to plump up the hair shaft and help eliminate the look of oiliness and flatness. I've tried grocery store color, but I think it causes breakage. But, yeah, go ahead and wash your hair every day! And know that you are definitely not alone! :)
Make a drink by blending bananas, honey, yogurt and low fat milk. This drink is rich in biotin and will help your hair to have strong roots.

Ensure your diet is rich in Vitamin B6, zinc and saw palmetto. Use supplements if you cannot get enough from natural food sources.

Bend your head while you are shampooing and massage your scalp. This will increase blood circulation to the scalp.

Get rid of stress and this is most dangerous for your lovely hair.

Get sufficient sleep. Like a healthy body, healthy hair too needs a good night's sleep

Look into using organic products they are alot better for you.

And they dont have harsh chemicals and other junk.
no its not
I'm not so sure if it is safe or not, but there is something else for you.

Use a 1/8 cup of Borax ( It's like $2 at Kroger's) And mix it with a quart of water. Pour it on your hair till you think it's everywhere (it doesn't lather) Then rinse it out. Then use a 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid and mix it with water. Use this as a conditioner.

I have been using this for about a week. I no longer have my hair falling out and it's stronger, thicker, and my hair is staying clean for longer

I hope this helps!

Have a great day! :)
everyone always says that my hair is really soft...

i use pantene shampoo, dove conditioner, and after my hair is dry i rub in about a coin-sized amount of this glossing polish made by

proc!aim, it has aloe and natural oils in it and moisturizes hair and makes it shiny and soft and eliminates frizz. and it smells really really good.
i would use mane n tail. okay it's horse shampoo but it works so good. it makes your hair softer, smoother, and shiner
you have the same hair as i do and i recomend Pantene. It definetly gives you softness, smoothness, and silkyness. For a little extra shine try going old school and use honey and manayse. it reallyy bring the shine on.

I shampoo my hair 3 times a week?

Any help will be most welcomeI shampoo my hair 3 times a week?
yes its gud if u do conditioning after shampooing ur hair......but not three times a week!!.....u should shampoo three times a week but not three times conditioning dear!..........

yu should do deep conditioning once a week......it'll help ur bring ur hair alive.....I shampoo my hair 3 times a week?
Hi

First of all you must need to know about your hair. Because few people have secretion of sebum frequently that causes hair damage and make hair look oily .

If you have this condition then only shampoo hair regularly and conditioner can be use twice a week.

Secondly this depends upon your shampoo and conditioner which you are using that usually have written usage, you can follow that instructions either that are good for regular use or twice a week

I use Dove shampoo daily and I do not feel any negative effects till now but I use conditioner twice a week.

The actual thing is whatever you are using that should be suitable for your hairs.

No, it won't harm your hair. I only wash mine about 3x a week... unless you have oily hair, or you work out and get sweaty a lot, you don't need to wash you're hair everyday... it's actually not that great for your hair... it can strip hair of all the essential oils hair produces on it's own that are healthy for your scalp/hair.
you can do the headbath with shampoo once twice in a week is enough.at night time ,massage the scalpe with oil and put the shampoo in the morning.and also use some lemon water ,it will work a good conditioner to your hair and also makes your hair shine.bye.

But check out ur shampoo indigents.......If it contain SSL chemical...then it may harm ur hair.......b'coz SSL is an floor washing chemical ,,,,,

it is used 2 produce more foam so check out........

And u should condition ur hairs only 1 time a week ........
no, it's not bad!

shampooing your hair less is GOOD, because the more you shampoo your hair, it strips the natural oils and it can also damage your hair. 3 times a week is perfect!
of course not. But I would advise you to use a residue cleaning shampoo. It take all the residue out of your hair. Ask your hairdresser about it. It cleans your hair from any residue left in your hair.
Shampoos are like detergents, It is harmful to your skin. Prevent your hair from pollution and dirt there by reduce the usage of shampoos...
no actually conditioning does good to your hair after shamppoing
I Hope it doesnt 'cause i shampoo and condition my hair every day!
only condition it on the ends and shampoo at least 5 times a week
keep doing it and itll fall out thats what happend to the lady down the street now look at her hahaha nah its sexy its better than having greasy *** hair
no its not bad but u should take care that u should not shampoo ur hair more than 3 weeks in a day ...cause it contains very hamfull chemicals ..so.....!!!!!
No it wont
Twice is ok?

yes........ use two days per weak ok va..........
