Do straightening hair shampoos actually work?

I want my hair to be straighter....permanently straightening it is not an option for me because i believe it damages your hair too much :\

I don't really want to use a straightening iron every morning of my life...but i'm interested in the shampoo...does it actually work. What brands do you guys recommend? :) thanksDo straightening hair shampoos actually work?
Honestly, shampoos/conditioners don't work. It's really the styling products and techniques that will make it straight. I would recomend 3 products to you:

Tresseme Thermal Creations Straightning Gel:

Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray:

and Redken 12 Ultra Straight Balm:

While your hair is damp, put in about 2 pumps of the straightening balm into your hair. Then, apply a little bit of the Tresemme straightning gel. Spray on the heat tamer spray, and blow dry staight with a square paddle brush. It works sooo well! No flat ironing needed!! (All products smell great and are available at CVS.)

Hope this helped :) Please check out my advice website for more tips:
