Where did you get the tattoo? And the shampoo will not bother it. Just make sure you run water over it and then put tattoo goo on it when you get out. Also you can put neosporn on before you get in to repell any shampoo going in it.Just got a tattoo... how to wash my hair in the shower? is it ok if shampoo gets in it?
Bathing, Showering, Hot Tubs, and Swimming
Yes, you can (and should!) shower with a new tattoo. It's OK to get your tattoo wet - just don't soak it. Submerging your tattoo in a bath or hot tub can cause serious damage, so you'll want to avoid those for 2-3 weeks, but showering is perfectly fine as long as you don't saturate your tattoo. If you get soap or shampoo on your tattoo, just remove it quickly with water. Swimming - whether it be a pool, fresh water or salt water - should be avoided for at least 2 weeks.Just got a tattoo... how to wash my hair in the shower? is it ok if shampoo gets in it?
Just wash your hair like normal. If shampoo gets on your tattoo, then simply rinse it off. Don't let your tattoo get too much water while it's still fresh, but a quick shower shouldn't do any damage. Gently pat dry when you get out of the shower.
Yes, just make sure you rinse well and wash afterwards with an antibacterial soap. After the dry the tat and put on a thin layer of antibiotic ointment and you are good to go!
