There's no set rule. Depending on how oily %26amp; dirty your hair gets is how often you should wash it.





My hair is extremely dry, so 2 times a week is perfect for me. However, bathing is an EVERY DAY thing. If your hair is looking perfect %26amp; you know that washing it would ruin it, wrap it up in something or use a cap when you get in the shower/bath so you don't expose it to steam %26amp; frizz it out. BTW, conditioning is a big YES, no matter what hair type you have. You need that protection, especially if you style w/ heat. Use a leave-in product after, as well.





Also, you should check into several ';Dry Cleaning'; products that are on the market. These are products that you can spray or massage into your hair between shampoos, so that your hair %26amp; scalp stays fresh %26amp; you're not stripping it w/ water %26amp; shampoo too often.

u sould shampoo evey day becuse that cleans your head and hair but u sould use conditioner every othre day tresseme,Dove shampoo,panten they really make your hair look like you just go you hair done
actually its not good for your hair to wash it everyday , Id say every other day .


Some shampoos strip your hair from its natural oils .

I wash my hair with both every day. But my hair gets oily quick. I think it is better for your hair to just wash it every other day.
For women of color it's no more than once a week. For us too much washing and conditioning our hair causes us to lose the natural oils from our hair.
Actually it depends on your hair type ; if u have say oily hair then u should not apply conditioner onto the roots but only along the length of ur hair and oily hair gets messy so according to how oily ur scalp is u can wash ur hair either on alternate days or even evryday if the need be.


If u have dry hair then conditioner is a must must for you. Shampooing is necessary when u feel ur scalp has accumulated dirt etc n make sure evytime u shampoo u condition ur hair as well.


Most importantly u should take care that u use the right type of conditioner i mean the one tht suits ur hair type


Never buy shampoo/conditioner according to ur frnd's choice , evrybody has diffrent hair n u must choose what suits YOU best

I have oily hair the more I wash it. I now wash my hair every other day and use conditioner everytime. You can always shampoo your hair just once instead of twice like the bottle says and it won't dry out as much.
Depends on your hair type. If your hair is very dry wash every other day to prevent from drying it out further. Especially if you put alot of heat on your hair, such as blow-drying, flat iron etc. If your hair is more oily wash everyday. I reccomen using conditioner whenever you wash. It keeps hair softer and more managable.

Washing your hair every day can be very damaging. I have heard it's best to do it every other day. My brother actually hasn't used Shampoo or Conditioner in over two years--he doesn't think it's necessary. His hair actually doesn't look bad at all. I wouldn't quite take it that far myself, but I had to point that out.
use very little shampoo, if any at all, there is enough detergent in conditioner to clean most hair types.
