the shampoo will only make your hair dull lookiing'Its designed for very coarse and porous hair,Oily hair sould be washed frequently and not gooped with a lot of product, you can use one of those 2in1 shampoos for oily hair and they work fine.Dont get hooked into product names..all shampoos have basically the same ingredients if you get a magnifying glass and read the label.Good luck

Yes Mane 'N Tail works with all hair types. It did not weigh my hair down, it gave it more body, shine and made it strong and healthy.
From a hairstylist point of view, I think Mane n Tail is one of the worst shampoos on the market. It leaves such a buildup on the hair shaft, and that is why most people think their hair is ';shiny';. If your hair is already oily, all this shampoo will do for it is weigh it down. It does not get in the cuticle of the hair which is what you want your shampoo and conditioner to do. It just lays on the surface and does nothing. Let the product be used on the horses as it was meant to do.
